Take it to the streets. Thug style fighting and real-world survival meet head to head in this straight up brawl.Welcome to West Bay, the town where the streets are dangerous, the women hot and the food strictly precooked!
Put yourself in Cutter's shoes, the head honcho of the Ghosts, one of the most respected gangs in the city. This morning your girlfriend Pearl has been kidnapped. The graffiti left on the wall of her house leaves no doubts: the Bishops are back at it and the truce is over! Follow the kidnappers trail through 8 levels and rescue your girl.
Street Tactics is an urban turn based tactical simulation. You control the 4 members of the Ghosts fighting their way through waves of thugs.

Inventory ScreenIn the inventory screen you can see what all your units have at their disposal. The equipped item will have '(Equipped)' next to its name. The inventory will open on the equipment of the unit currently active. Use Alt+Wheel to select the other units.
Every unit can have up to 6 different items in their inventory
Use the wheel to select all the different items, the picture and description of the item will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Clicking on the select item will pop-up a menu with four different options:
-Equip: Equip the selected item
-Drop: drop the selected item on the square the unit is currently on. If you drop more then one item in the same square, they will all stay there and can be picked up in the same order you dropped them
-Trade: give the selected item to another friendly unit. If you select this option, a list of units that are close enough to trade with (up to 2 squares away) will appear. Select the one you want to trade with. If no friendly units are close enough, a message will appear saying so.
-Exit: put away the menu.
The In Game Menu
Pressing Escape from the Map View, you get to the main menu.
On the top part of the game menu, you can see the objective of the level you are currently playing.
On the bottom right there is the move order for the next 6 moves. A blue dot next to the name indicates a friendly unit, a black dot that the unit is incapacitated at the moment (it will be able to move only if by the time its turn comes it has been revived using smelling salts) and a red dot indicates an enemy unit.
On the bottom left there's a list of command you can navigate to with the wheel and select by clicking.
-Continue: go back to the Map View and continue to play
-End Turn: End the moving unit turn
-Inventory: Access the inventory screen
-Stats: Access the Statistics screen
-Save: save your game at the current point
-Quit: stop playing the game and go back to the main menu. Be aware that your game will be lost if you choose this option.

T/I: Equip Next Item of the Moving Unit
E/Y: Target Next Selectable Unit or Item
Every unit on the map has Action Points (AP) that can be spent during their turn. The move order of units is established based on Agility, one of their Statistics (Stat), how many moves have passed since their last move and how many AP the unit has spent in the previous move.
At the bottom of the map view, you see the next few units that will act next after the one currently moving. If you press escape and go to the In Game Menu page, you can see a more in-depth version of this screen.
The bottom right of the screen, shows your current units equipped item. If the equipped item is a firearm, you will see the amount of bullets loaded.
On the top bar on the screen, you can see the name of the friendly unit moving or that last moved, the amount of money the gang has, the Hit Points (HP) and AP of the moving unit. Under it you can see the four portraits of the gang members. The green bar under them tells you how many HP they have. On the right of the portrait effects like Blind, Slow, Fast and Poisoned are displayed. If one of the units dies the portrait will be replaced by a skull.
If on the map you select a square occupied by a unit, the name of the unit will appear on top of it, and a bar indicating the health under it, as well as icons indicating if they are Blinded, Slow, Fast or Poisoned.
Every unit during its turn can do several different things. Click on a square on the map to pull up the actions menu with the list of possible actions:
-Move (appears only if the selected square is not occupied by another unit). The path the unit will follow will appear as well as the number of AP necessary to get there. If the unit doesn't have enough AP, it will stop when it has used them all.
-Group Move (appears only if the selected square is not occupied by another unit). All the units will move to that square. Move after move will be automatically executed by the game until all the units are around the chosen square. The Group Move command is interrupted if enemies appear or if an enemy unit is next in the move order.
-Equip Next: the unit will equip the next item in their inventory.
-End Turn: Finish the unit move.
-Swap (appears only if the selected square contains a friendly unit adjacent to the moving unit): swap the moving unit position with the adjacent unit.
-Fire (appears only if the moving unit has a firearm equipped, the firearm is loaded and the selected square is not occupied by the moving unit): fire your weapon with the selected square as target.
-Examine (appears only if the selected square contains an object): Examine the object in the selected square.
-Pickup (appears only if the selected square contains an object): Pickup the object in the selected square. If the unit is not on the square, it will move there first. The amount of AP shown is the total necessary to get there and pickup the object.
-Throw (appears only if the unit has equipped a grenade): Throw a grenade to the selected square. Selecting this option will show a cross with all the squares affected by the explosion. The closer the units are to the center of the cross, the more they will be affected by the grenade. In the center of the cross, you can see the number of AP necessary to throw.
-Attack (appears only if the selected square contains another unit): Attack the unit in the selected square with a melee weapon. If the target unit is not adjacent to the moving unit, it will move to an adjacent square to it. The amount of AP shown is the total necessary to get there and complete the Attack.
-Use Item (appears only if the moving unit has a usable item equipped and the selected square contains a friendly unit): Use the equipped item on the selected unit (can be the moving unit itself). If the target unit is not adjacent to the moving unit, it will move to an adjacent square to it. The amount of AP shown is the total necessary to get there and use the item. Usable items are everything except weapons and ammo.
-Reload (appears only if the moving unit has equipped a firearm and the firearm is not loaded): Reload the equipped firearm.
If one of the options in the menu has a forbidden sign next to it, it means that the unit doesn't have enough AP to do that move.
While navigating the map, pressing escape you can go back to the square occupied by the moving unit. If you press escape while the unit is actually moving, the move stops, and you can choose to do something else.
At the end of every level, you will access the Store. You can buy items with your hard earned money (obtained by killing enemies or just found on the ground) or train your units to increase their stats. You can also sell items you have in the inventory.
Once selected what you want to do, you have to pick which unit will do it.
Store
If you picked Buy the list of available items with their cost will appear. Scroll between them with the Wheel, use Alt+Wheel to buy more then one item at the time. Every item stacks in the inventory up to 99, with the exception of weapons.
Crucial items are:
- Smelling Salts: only way to revive your incapacitated units. Make sure you always have a good amount with you.
- Med Kit: only way to heal your units. You are going to use a lot of them.
- Grenades: they have different effects, depending on the type, but their area effect comes very handy in sticky situations
- Ammo: you may have the best firearm in the game, but it's useless if you don't remember this. They fit every firearm, except for the rocket propelled grenade launcher (RPG) that has its own ammo.
If you picked Sell, you will see the inventory of the unit selected. You can sell everything the unit has at 75% of the buying cost.
If you picked Upgrade, you will see the stats of the selected unit. Scroll between them with the wheel. On the top you can see the current value and the max value of the selected attribute.
Stats Screen
In this screen you can read all what you need to know about the members of your gang. Scroll with the wheel to cycle between the 4 of them.
Every unit has 4 stats that can go from 1 to 7. You can increase the stats at the end of every level, visiting the store.
The four stats are:
-Shooting: increase shot effectiveness
-Medical: increase effectiveness of health items
-Hand to Hand: increase melee attack and defence
-Agility: increase turn frequency
In this page you can see the max HP and AP and the effects the unit is currently subjected to.
There are four effects your units can be subjected to as items being used on them:
-Slow: your unit has half the AP
-Fast: your units has 6 more AP
-Blind: everything you do has an extra 50% failure rate
-Poisoned: your unit is subjected to a bit damage every turn for the duration of the effect.
