About the Game

Set your lures and wait for the bell to ring. Catch the biggest fish and fill your trophy case.

Quit dreaming of becoming Canada's Ice Fishing Champ, and make it happen! You'll fish all winter and compete through freezing temperatures, using all your winter fishing skills and wisdom and survival ability, while escaping hungry polar bears. You might not make it through the season, but if you're good enough to, and catch the biggest fish out there, you might earn lake wide notoriety.

Game Rules

Use the LEFT and RIGHT buttons to move the fisherman left and right.

Setting/Selecting Holes:
The FIRE button will make a new hole or select an existing hole if the fisherman is standing on one. Lower the lure with the UP and DOWN buttons and set the depth by pressing FIRE.

Catching Fish:
When a fish is hooked, select the active hole with the FIRE button. The line tension is indicated by a meter. Press UP to reel the fish in. Press DOWN button to decrease the tension. If the meter rises to the top the line will break and the fish and lure will be lost.

Season Mode:
Fish from January to March, see if you can maintain your lures and supplies by catching fish. At the end of a month or if you run out of lures, you may trade in fish for more lures and days of supplies. If you have no supplies left the game ends.

Free Fish:
Just catch some fish for fun!
