About the Game

The outpost on Asteroid 29348 needs your help: Watch your fuel, don’t crash, and save the day.

You must land supplies on asteroid 29348. Do you have what it takes to land a spaceship? Find the difficult landing locations, watch your fuel levels, and minimize damage to your ship. The Alien Lander ship is difficult to handle on such a low-gravity planetoid: Subtle movements are key.

Game Rules

Thruster power is controlled with the 'up' key, left and right rotations are controlled by their respective keys.

Status Bars:
Use the status bars to safely fly the Lander to its destination.
The top left hand corner has two speed bars. The one on top is the speed in the horizontal direction and the bottom is the vertical speed.
Green indicates that the speed in the bar is low enough for a safe landing.
The lower left hand corner has a fuel meter in blue and a health meter in green.
When the fuel is depleted the thrusters will no longer fire. When the health is depleted the lander will crash.
The landing pod direction is indicated by the blue arrow beside the speed bars. If the blue arrow isn't present,
the landing pod is within visible horizontal range ( you will need to check vertically manually. )
The number of lives left is shown by the number of smaller landers drawn on the bottom of the canvas.
The current level of rocket power is shown by the rectangles in the lower right hand corner.

Scoring:
The score obtained will depend on several factors:
- How close to zero the Lander speed was
- The amount of fuel left
- The amount of health left
- How far the landing pod was from the starting point
- The width of the landing pod

The score for the amount of fuel left will be dependant on the distance to landing pod. This
means that players will not be penalized for using more fuel to navigate to a farther pod.
