Remove your checkers from the board before your opponent.
Move checkers the number shown on each die; rolling doubles lets you use each die twice.
A point may be landed on as long as it doesn't contain 2 or more of the opponent's checkers. If it contains 1 of the opponent's checkers, that checker is then sent to the opponent's bar, and they must play it off the bar before making any other moves on their next turn.
If there are no legal moves after throwing the dice, you miss a turn.
Match Play ends when a player wins enough points through wins and use of the doubling cube.
The doubling cube is initially set to 1, and may be doubled up to 6 times. A player may offer the doubling cube before rolling the dice on their turn. The opponent may reject the cube and forfeit, or accept the cube. The cube may only be offered by the owner.
Checkers may only be borne off when all 15 are within that player's inner board and/or borne off already. Bear-off moves must use up as much of the die values as possible.
You can gammon your opponent by winning before they bear off at all, or backgammon by winning while they still have a checker in your inner board.
